3rd Annual Tarpon Springs Book Festival Returns This Weekend |
Celebrate books, authors, and community in downtown Tarpon Springs |

Book lovers, mark your calendars! The 3rd Annual Tarpon Springs Book Festival is happening this Saturday, June 6, 2026, in beautiful downtown Tarpon Springs. After an incredible second year that drew thousands of visitors, this free family-friendly event is back and better than ever.
Presented by the Tarpon Springs Downtown District and The Gilded Page bookstore, the festival transforms Court Street and the Mother Meres parking lot into a literary wonderland. Expect a full day of new and used books, independent authors, guest speaker panels, creative activities, and delicious food vendors.
Programming takes place across multiple indoor venues including the Tarpon Arts Cultural Center (101 Pinellas Ave), the Historic Train Depot Museum (160 E Tarpon Ave), and the Tarpon Springs Public Library (138 E Lemon St). General admission is completely free, giving you access to all panels, workshops, author talks, and signing lines.
Headlining authors will be signing books in The Gilded Page booth located in the Vendor Showcase. You can bring up to two books from home per author, or purchase ahead from The Gilded Page for priority access in signing lines.
With free public parking available throughout the area and accessible venues for all, this is one weekend event Tampa Bay families won't want to miss. Wear comfortable shoes, bring a reusable water bottle, and get ready to discover your next favorite read.
