The only downside is parking near Ybor can be tough sometimes. But for Columbia, it’s worth it!
Love seeing long-time employees get recognition. You can tell they care.
Never tried Spanish Cuban food until Columbia. Now I’m hooked.
I bring my family every Christmas Eve. It’s our tradition now.
I think the new places popping up in Tampa are great, but Columbia just has that old-school charm you can’t fake.
I hope Columbia keeps the classics on the menu even as they update things. I can’t imagine them without the 1905 salad.
Went last month, and I agree, the staff really makes you feel at home. That’s rare these days.
The architecture is so cool in the Ybor location. Tiles, arches, all of it. Worth a visit even if you’re not eating!
My parents met at Columbia in the 80s. Still their favorite spot.
Not sure why people rave about the food, it’s solid but not the absolute best in town. Still, the atmosphere is hard to beat.
The updated catering is news to me. Anyone try it for a party yet?
So many memories! I always recommend Columbia to folks new to Florida.
It gets packed at dinner time, so make a reservation if you plan to see flamenco on the weekend.
I live near the Clearwater location and it feels different in a good way compared to Ybor. Love that each one is unique.
Just had our anniversary dinner there. The sangria and bread alone are enough reason to go back.
Did someone say Spanish wine? Columbia’s list is unmatched. Great for date night.
I appreciate places that keep cultural heritage alive like this. Makes Tampa feel special.
Honestly, I think the mojitos are a little overpriced, but the atmosphere makes up for it.
I wish more restaurants took the time to blend tradition with new ideas. Columbia nails it every time.
Respect to the staff. Service is always top notch whenever I eat there.
Glad to see the Columbia still going strong. My grandparents took me there as a kid and it hasn’t changed much. Love that.
The flamenco shows set the vibe! This is my go-to when friends visit from out of town.
I had no idea you could do online catering there now. That’s going to make family events so much easier.
That paella is seriously the best I’ve had outside Spain. Got to book another dinner soon!
Always love hearing about places with such a long history. Columbia is a true Tampa treasure.
