St. Pete Fall Festival 2026 Brings Pumpkins, Music and Family Fun to the Pier |
The free waterfront festival runs October 10-11 with a pumpkin patch, kids entertainment and fall activities |

Fall in St. Petersburg rarely comes with sweater weather, but this weekend the waterfront is getting the full autumn treatment anyway.
The St. Pete Fall Festival takes over Spa Beach at the St. Pete Pier on Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.
Admission to the festival itself is free, making it one of the easier family outings to add to a busy weekend without committing to an all-day ticketed attraction.
The event mixes classic fall traditions with the Pier's waterfront setting, including a large pumpkin patch, fall photo opportunities, food vendors, arts-and-crafts vendors, live entertainment, a Kids Zone, and a bounce area.
For families trying to plan around naps, meals, or other weekend activities, the entertainment schedule is especially helpful because the main stage follows the same general rhythm both days.
The festival opens with a DJ at 11 a.m., followed by Astonishing Houdanny at noon, Silly Sam The Music Man at 1 p.m., and a performance from Arts Conservatory for Teens at 2 p.m.
At 6 p.m., the day shifts into a Kids Rave with DJ SD23 of Midnight Music DJs, giving younger visitors a high-energy finale before the festival closes at 7.
One of the biggest draws is the St. Pete Pier Pumpkin Patch, which is free to enter and continues beyond festival weekend through October 25.
Pumpkins are available to purchase, so families can take care of the annual pumpkin hunt while also getting the kind of waterfront photos that make fall in Florida look a little different from everywhere else.

Another add-on is Putt the Pier: Fall Pumpkin Edition, a seasonal mini-golf course decorated with pumpkins, hay bales, fall colors, and themed obstacles.
Weekend mini-golf tickets are listed at $13 plus taxes and fees, with children age 3 and younger admitted free with a paying adult, and time slots can be reserved online.
That means a family can keep the day completely free by sticking to the festival, music, vendors, and pumpkin patch, or turn it into a longer outing by adding mini-golf and paid bounce-zone activities.
The location is also part of the appeal.
Spa Beach sits at the St. Pete Pier, putting the festival within walking distance of the Pier's restaurants, playground, waterfront paths, and downtown St. Petersburg.
If you are driving, it is worth planning ahead.
The Pier says it has more than 500 on-site parking spaces, but Saturday afternoon is one of its busiest periods, with peak parking demand typically running from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Overflow parking is available at the Sundial Parking Garage and Al Lang Parking Lot, and the Downtown Looper also serves the Pier area.
That makes an early arrival a smart move if your priority is easy parking, cooler temperatures, or getting photos before the afternoon crowd builds.
The St. Pete Fall Festival is a good example of why October can be one of the most active months on the Tampa Bay calendar.
You do not need crisp temperatures to make a fall weekend feel seasonal; sometimes pumpkins, waterfront views, live music, and a little creative Florida interpretation are enough.
For families, couples, and anyone looking for a low-cost reason to spend a few hours downtown, this is one of the most practical events on the calendar this weekend. |
